Debra “Debbie” A. Faulkner
Debbie is a Tampa Bay area native. She attended Stetson University on a Presidential Scholarship and at 19-years-old, Debbie graduated cum laude and earned the distinction of being Stetson’s youngest graduate since its founding in 1883.
She attended Cornell Law School – one of the five Ivy League law schools – and became the first person in her family to obtain a graduate-level education. In 2012, Debbie returned to law school and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis. In this program, Debbie focused her coursework on sophisticated personal estate and tax planning.
Debbie Faulkner is more than a founding attorney; she is a dedicated advocate who built a law firm with heart. Her passion for helping families and business owners protect their legacies is deeply personal, forged by a life of service and sacrifice.
As a military spouse, Debbie has witnessed the unique challenges faced by those who serve our country. Her time as a paid summer intern at the JAG Corps offered a firsthand look at how a one-size-fits-all approach can leave families unprotected. While the military provides basic legal services, she saw that they often fail to address the complexities of a family’s full financial and emotional life. This experience fueled her commitment to providing a wildly different, highly personalized legal service.
That same sense of purpose extends to her community work.Â
Debbie is a proud supporter of military families and a dedicated board member of organizations like Madi’s Movement and Kimberly Home, where she helps aged-out foster youth and provides compassionate support to women in need.
With legal degrees from Cornell Law School and an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis, Debbie has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2016-2019 and has been named a “Super Lawyer” every year from 2020 through 2025, a peer selected award to the top 5% of attorneys statewide.Â
Debbie’s professional excellence is a reflection of her core belief that every person deserves a plan that provides dignity, respect, and peace of mind. For her, the law is not just a profession—it’s a calling to serve others. Her work is a promise to her clients that they will be treated like family, and that their legacy will be protected just as she would her own.
